Sara and Louis Cohen Undergraduate Scholarship

Ira Cohen earned his B.S. in computer science from the University of Illinois in 1981. Ira was vice president of Advanced Systems Concepts, in Schaumburg, Illinois, where he provided productivity tools for midrange IBM systems. The scholarship was established to honor Ira’s grandparents.

Criteria:

  • GPA of at least 3.5
  • Sophomore in CS major
  • Identify as a person from a group underrepresented in the field of computer science

The scholarship may be renewable for a student's junior year, contingent upon their academic standing and remaining in the CS major.
