Minutes of the 2010-11 ECE Curriculum Committee

September 17, 2010
Present: Bishop, Hu, Kudeki, Leburton, Levinson, Makela, Meyn, Oelze, Pop, Vaidya
Excused due to conflict with classes: Choquette, Lumetta

  • The committee discussed and approved the proposal from the Computer Science department to offer a 4-hour option for graduate students registering for ECE 438 (cross-listed as CS 438) and ECE 428 (cross-listed as CS 425).
  • The committee discussed and approved (with minor revisions) a request for ECE 498JM Global Navigation Satellite Systems (by Jonathan Makela) to be offered in Spring 2011, as well as a new course proposal for ECE 456 Global Nav Satellite Systems based on ECE 498JM. The new course will be offered in Spring semesters. ECE 498JM will be offered for the third time in Spring 2011.
