ECE Curriculum Committee Meeting Minutes for Sep 15, 2014

1. The meeting was called to order at 3 pm.
2. Prof. Bill Sanders presented the charge to the committee for the 2014-2015 academic year. 
3. The minutes of the Sep 8, 2014  meeting were discussed and some corrections were made.
4. The discussion of the items remaining from academic year 2013-2014 was continued

i. Report back from committee of Erhan Kudeki et al following up on  this committees report on improvement of PHYS213-214.

Kudeki said that the Physics department is keen to make changes to PHYS213-214 and would like our input. 

j. [Outgoing surveys] Examine employment/graduate school survey of outgoing students.

The CC will invite Brad Peterson to present the results of the survey, and based on the data, consider possible changes to the survey questions.

k. [Improve instructional methods]

The CC will discuss various options for improving the student experience in  both large single section and multi-section courses.

5. The meeting was adjourned at 3:50 PM.
