Fall 2022 Orientation Dates (updated regularly)

  • Wednesday, August 17 – ISSS Virtual Orientation (for international students)
  • Friday, August 19 – In-Person Orientation for all ISE Graduate Students from 8 am - 1 pm. Breakfast & Lunch will be provided.

Welcome to ISE! We are greatly excited to have you. To get you started, check out a few of these resources:

  1. The GradMAP through the Graduate College. In particular, check out the Quick Guide for 10 steps to getting started at the University of Illinois
  2. View the ISE Grad Essentials video below. Here is a copy of the corresponding PowerPoint slides so you can access the links in the video.

  3. Register for courses when you're able to do so.
