1. Four courses proposed as Tech Electives and for Advanced Computing Credit: 

   1. CS 498 AML Applied Machine Learning, Forsyth, D, http://luthuli.cs.uiuc.edu/~daf/courses/AML-18/aml-home.html, Note: similar course was approved SP17 for both tech elective and advanced computing core.  Status: Approved as both Tech Elective and ACC.

   2. CS 498 GH3, GH4 Learning and Computer Science, Herman, G.  syllabus.  Status: tabled, pending discussion by the Computer Engineering group.

   3. CS 498 PS3, PS4 Audio Computing Lab, Smaragdis, P.  Syllabus is copied from the 2015 version of ECE 403, which is http://courses.engr.illinois.edu/ece403/sp2015/.  Status: Approved as an ECE Tech Elective.  Status: Approved as a Tech Elective; ACC status tabled pending review by CompE.

   4. CS 498 VR3, VR4 Virtual Reality,  Angrave, L, https://courses.engr.illinois.edu/cs498vr3/sp2018/, was approved as CS 498 SL in SP17 for both tech elective and advanced computing core.  Status: Approved as both Tech Elective and ACC.

2. New temporary course proposed for the second half of Spring 2018:

3. New temporary course proposed for Fall 2018:
   
   1. ECE598WZ. ECE598WZ.pdf.  Status: removed from the agenda because it is a 598, and therefore needs approval by the Graduate Committee.
4. Discussion of upcoming ABET review.  Instructions for the mapping from last year's ABET items to this year's items will be posted soon on the CC web page, and then we'll start dividing the writing tasks.
