| Yunni & Maxine Pao Memorial Fellowship | The College of Engineering Office of Graduate, Professional and Online Programs will award up to five $5,000 fellowships, to be paid on a monthly basis over 9 months. Students will be evaluated on their research accomplishments, as well as outreach and leadership activities. |

Eligibility
- Must be enrolled in the CS or ECE department.
- Preference will be given to high-achieving students from the United States or Hong Kong who have at least one parent from China.
- Preference will be given to MS with thesis or PhD students.
- 3.75 or higher overall GPA in their graduate program.
- Be registered as full-time students for the entire academic-year in which the fellowship is awarded (fall and spring term).
Submission Details (02/8/20 by 11:59P)
Required Materials:
- Application form - completed by the student
- Unofficial Transcripts - Visit UI Integrate Self-Service and view Academic History. Save as PDF, HTML, or Word doc.https://apps.uillinois.edu/selfservice/
- CV/Resume
- Letter of recommendation from thesis advisor
- Research Statement (1 page max) - summarize your research thus far in your career
- Personal Statement (1 page max) - discuss your outreach and leadership experience
Materials should be submitted by 11:59P on February 8, 2020 to Michelle Wellens. The department will provide a letter of support on the behalf of the selected student(s).
Note: Students, submit ONE PDF named "21S. YM Pao - Last Name, First Name." Your advisor can send their letter of recommendation directly to mwellens@illinois.edu.
