20-21 Yunni & Maxine Pao Memorial Fellowship (Spring 2021)

The College of Engineering Office of Graduate, Professional and Online Programs will award up to five $5,000 fellowships, to be paid on a monthly basis over 9 months. See the Yunni & Maxine Pao Memorial Fellowship Announcement from the Grainger College of Engineering.

Students will be evaluated on their research accomplishments, as well as outreach and leadership activities.

Eligibility:

• Must be enrolled in the CS or ECE department.
• Preference will be given to high-achieving students from the United States or Hong Kong who have at least one parent from China.
• Preference will be given to MS with thesis or PhD students.
• 3.75 or higher overall GPA in their graduate program.
• Be registered as full-time students for the entire academic-year in which the fellowship is awarded (fall and spring term).

3. CV/Resume
4. Letter of recommendation from thesis advisor
5. Research Statement (1 page max) - summarize your research thus far in your career
6. Personal Statement (1 page max) - discuss your outreach and leadership experience

Materials should be submitted by 11:59P on February 18, 2021 to Michelle Wellens. The department will provide a letter of support on the behalf of the selected student(s).
