    1. Status: Application for a permanent course number is approved
  2. T for D: should students who AP out of Math 221 be required to take a half-semester "calculus in college context" course? MathLiaisonCommittee-FinalReport-May.97.pdf

    1. Status: All committee members agree that students who AP out of calculus should be encouraged, in advising, to either re-take it, or to take a half-semester course like ECE 198JA.  There is disagreement about whether or not students can be required to do such a thing; that seems to be a matter requiring discussion at the College level.
    2. The committee responsible for the 1997 report should perhaps reconvene, and discuss the problems with Calculus III with the Math department.
