- Virtual Instruction. We have been asked about: (1) grading formulas, (2) on-line cheating, (3) issues of students suffering from social isolation stress.
Grading formulas: (1) adjust the cutoffs, to compensate student stress? (2) shift some of the grade weight into a participation grade for the online interactions (or just watching the videos), to make sure that students are not tempted to stop participating entirely, (3) avoid making changes that may stress some students, such as shifting more weight onto completed portions of the class.
