Microsoft Research Graduate Women's Scholarship (Fall 2013)

International students (non-U.S. citizens) are eligible.  Students must be currently enrolled in their first year in a graduate program. If a student has already completed graduate-level (for graduate credit*) coursework in any subject area, prior to their first year in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics, then the student is not eligible for the Scholarship program.  *Graduate level courses taken as part of a BS degree do not disqualify a student (verified via email exchange with Microsoft).

A maximum of three candidates per department may be nominated.

Please ensure that the following materials are submitted by 5pm on 9/30/2013 to Colin Robertson (colinr@illinois.edu, 2233 SC):
1) Your CV/resume.
2) A copy of your undergraduate transcript.
3) An essay describing your research interest and how this scholarship would enable your success (maximum length of 500 words).
4) Two (2) letters of reference from established researchers familiar with the your research:
 a) One letter of recommendation from your graduate adviser.
 b) One letter of recommendation from your undergraduate adviser or another academic familiar with your undergraduate work (should include any research work, if applicable).
