Eligibility:
1) Female Computer Science majors;
2) WCS members;
3) Current sophomores or juniors;
4) 3.0+ GPA.

By 5pm on 1/12/2015, the following materials should be submitted to Colin Robertson (colinr@illinois.edu, 2233 SC):
1) Your current CV/resume.

Please answer each Essay, 1 to 1.5 single-spaced pages, responding to one of the following essay questions (2 page limit)three topics:
  a) When designing technical solutions, describe the tradeoffs needed to be made between usability, security, and cost.
  b) Describe the key challenges facing the financial industry right now and how technology can help to transform financial institutions to overcome these challenges.
  c) Why is it important to close the gender gap in technology-related fields?  What can be done at both the academic corporate levels to close this gap?
3) In 1-2 paragraphs, please briefly describe your participation in WCS.

4) Does the department have your permission to release your application materials to JP Morgan Chase?
5) If you are chosen as a winner, please indicate whether or not the department has permission to publicize it (on our website, alumni newsletter, etc.).
