The University of Illinois' FMC Fellowships support masters- and doctoral-level students in engineering, business administration, and other areas related to the work of FMC Technologies, Inc. FMC is a leading global provider of technology solutions for the energy industry. Named by Fortune Magazine as the "World's Most Admired Oil and Gas Equipment and Service Company" in 2012, FMC Technologies has approximately 14,900 employees and operates 27 production facilities in 16 countries. FMC Technologies designs, manufactures and services technologically sophisticated systems and products such as subsea production and processing systems, surface wellhead systems, high pressure fluid control equipment, measurement solutions, and marine loading systems for the oil and gas industry.

Students must be nominated by their department, and each department may submit up to six nominations.
By 5pm on 1/29/2016, the following materials should be submitted to Colin Robertson (colinr@illinois.edu, 2233 SC):
1) Student's current CV/resume.
2) Student's Statement of Purpose (maximum three pages, double-spaced, with one-inch margins, 12 point font, and in Times New Roman). The Statement of Purpose should describe the student's research, including research question (and/or hypothesis or engineering goal), significance, methodology, and preliminary research (if applicable), along with language explaining the relationship of the student's research to the interests of FMC. The statement must be accessible to readers outside of the applicant's particular area of research.
3) Three letters of recommendation from faculty or professionals.
Note: Those selected as CS nominees will need to provide official transcripts "of all current and past degree programs."
