Travel Award Eligibility:

  • Will be enrolled as a MS or PhD student in Fall 2017.
  • From an underrepresented demographic Preference from students from underrepresented demographics in computer science.

Please ensure that the following materials are submitted by 5 pm on June 1 to Colin Robertson (colinr@illinois.edu, 2252 SC):
1) Your up-to-date CV/resume.
2) A one page statement discussing why you want to attend the conference, and how attending will benefit your education, research, and/or career.
3) If you are presenting at or assisting with the conference, please provide a half page to one page statement summarizing your participation.
4) A  A short statement indicating whether or not you would be willing to assist in promoting CS @ ILLINOIS while at the conference.   This may would include assisting department staff at the department's exhibit career fair table for periods of time.
