Illinois Computer Science students are changing the world through their contributions to the computing industry and to research. This page is a great resource for information and links about opportunities the Department is aware of, including scholarships, fellowships, grants, awards, and competitions.
The opportunities are divided into two groups:
- Awards that require Department action/selection: many awards do not allow students to apply directly–they must be nominated by a department, college, or institution; in addition the Department administers many of its own awards.
- External award opportunities: these require no Department action, and students may apply to these awards directly.
We encourage you to check back often to see what opportunities are available.
If you have a listing you'd like us to add, or have questions about this page, please email Hannah Gorrie.
